and back up again!
The House and Senate are working on a mental health bill that will require insurance companies to cover mental health issues equally with other health issues. speaking as someone who has had to use the insurance this is HUGE! sean's deductible for regular stuff? his mental health deductible is TWICE that. i owe his psychiatrist $150 for his last visit. i figure by the end of the year he won't have met his deductible, but i'll have a huge psychiatric bill, even though we have insurance. maybe this will help that.

It's about friggin' time! My goodness.
That's awesome...maybe I'd actually go to counseling like I'm supposed to, instead of just popping pills & hoping for the best! I mean, we all see how THAT'S turned out, I'm on the internet discussing clown and zombie porn!
It's about time we treated mental health care as health care, period. Then again, it's about time we got serious about health care!
Mental health drives physical health. Why shouldn't it be covered?
